About Us...

Since 1954, McMahon Services and Construction has built and maintained a reputation second to none in
the Home Services and Remodeling Industry. What began over 55 years ago as a Home Services company,
has evolved into a Premier Disaster Restoration Company that holds a "Preferred Contractor" status by
many Insurance Industry Leaders, and that is no easy task!

Mike McMahon handles the smaller fires, smoke and water damage claims. Mike uses his 35+ years
of running the cleaning, painting, and maintenance end of the business to expertly and meticulously
manage these claims. Mike also assists homeowners in taking this opportunity to make changes to
their home.


John McMahon
is Mike's eldest son. John assists his father with the smaller fires, smoke and water damage. John began working for the family business in 1988 where he developed his extensive hands-on knowledge
of construction. His proficiency eventually enabled him to become an on-site supervisor. He now uses his 20+
years of experience to assess damages and write estimates. John is also certified in mold remediation and handles all mold related issues.


Peggy McMahon
is the office manager of 20 years. She acts as the liaison between the homeowner and the insurance company. Peggy has 8 years of prior experience with a major insurance carrier which allows her to use her extensive knowledge to facilitate communication among all parties.


Tom McMahon
is Mike's youngest son and the most recent addition to McMahon Services and Construction. Tom graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Business Administrations and Economics. As our lead sales and service representative, Tom works with clients to thoroughly explain the claims process as well as insurance adjusters or agents to facilitate the claims process. His primary goal is to ensure that homeowners get the maximum benefit from their homeowners policy. Having worked for the family business since he was 16 years old, Tom has first-hand experience and extensive knowledge of the restoration process.
